CZ TS 40 to 9mm conversion mag problems

I have a CZ Tactical Sport in.40, and i purchased a new 9mm barrel and five - "10 round" 9mm mags from cz direct and i'm having nothing but problems with the mags.

With the slide in slide lock if i "drive the mags home" they get jammed, as best i can tell on the extractor. The slide release and the mag release become inoperable, neither will actuate. I have to either use a dowel and smack the feed lips or take the grips off, get a really firm grip on the mag and tug it down, it moves down a fraction of an inch and then i can use the mag release.

If i gently insert the mag, i don't have this issue, and i can shoot 9mm out of it, but then i also have another mag issue.

On some of the mags, the rounds get jammed in the magazine, like it's just a hair too wide and the rounds get jammed next to each other.

Is it possible that all 5 mags are out of spec? Or is it more likely that my gun is slightly out of spec? Or that the 10 round mags are not compatible with the .40 frame? (though others report this conversion working just fine)

I have 7 "10 round" .40 cal magazines and don't have these issues with those.

you are over inserting the mags. Thats what forcing everything to lock up. Check your mag release and spring for wear.

Why is it an issue for the 9mm mags and not the .40 mags? Also the pistol has less than 1000 rounds through it.

They maybe TS mags but nothing on the link says they fit the TS. I would check with CZ first to ensure they are the.correct mag and then ask their opinion as to problem assuming they are TS mags

I called cz, they are the right mag's. They are insisting it's a problem with my gun or ammo, despite the fact I have 7 .40 mag's that work flawlessly and have tried multiple types of ammo. I'm going to take some pictures and measurements and call them back tomorrow as I'm not buying that answer.

I tried measuring the magazines and frankly i'm not sure what all the critical dimensions are and where to measure.

So, the magazine is getting stuck on the ejector. the 9mm magazine is getting over inserted and the cut out on the rear of the mag is going past and around the ejector and getting wedged against the ejector, this then completely locks the action and i have to beat the magazine out with a dowel. This does not happen with the .40 magazines no matter how hard i slam them in. I can't even insert the 9mm magazines with anything more than a feather touch or else this happens.

I can tell that that rear cut out area is different on the 40 magazine and has some extra material on the left where the ejector is and the magazine can't get past the ejector, it just gets stopped by the ejector.

I tried measuring the magazines and frankly i'm not sure what all the critical dimensions are and where to measure.

If the mag goes far enough in to the receiver it pushes past the ejector and the ejector moves to the inside of the mag mouth and hooks the magazine, it is over inserted. The question is why? Any mods to the mouth of the mag well opening? Are the notches for the mag release in the same location(s) and same size. Non-stock mag release? Can you post pictures?
