mikeyjones Posted May 20, 2016 Share Posted May 20, 2016 Living in NJ, I'm capped at 15 rounds so I have very limited options on magazines. Right now I have a few pinned 17rd mags but I'm not able to take them apart for cleaning and such. So I'm looking into other options available to me. Can I buy a 10rd mag such as this one: here and add an extension such as this one for a total of 13? Anyone see any reason why that wouldn't work? Aside from the ridiculous cost? My other option is just to buy more 17rd mags and have them pinned. Again, I'd really like the ability to disassemble so I'm willing to give up the extra 2 rounds of ammo. kneelingatlas Posted May 20, 2016 Share Posted May 20, 2016 I would drill out the rivets, add the base pad, then attach a block to the stop plate of the base pad to limit capacity.
