Jay870 Posted March 27, 2016 Share Posted March 27, 2016 For folks that are using a pin style slide stop in a TS are you doing anything to plug the square hole in the frame or are you just leaving it open? Thought about making a plug for it out of sugru that would be easy enough to remove if I need to go back to a full slide stop but was wondering what other people have had success with. I thought about welding it closed, but I'd have to recut the slide rail through the weld ant that's just too much trouble. I've seen people put a little grip tape over the hole which looks clean. kneelingatlas Posted March 31, 2016 Share Posted March 31, 2016 It doesn't have a lever, so it's lighter, can't be bumped to inadvertently lock the slide open and it's cheaper: $9 vs $35 Slide lock reloads are for IDPA guys, Open shooters race with suicide doors!
