Dranoel
I'm using a J Point slide mount optic and I find that it's pretty easy to rack the slide by pushing back on the front edge of the mount. But I am concerned that in the heat of competition I might miss, hit the front of the lens and break something. So what I am looking for is basically a knob I can mount by drilling and tapping the J Point mount. I'd like to have about a half inch knurled aluminum tube about 3/4" long with a bolt through it. Anyone know of anything like that? Or know someone willing to make one?
Aircooled6racer
Hello: I would not mount the racker to the mount. Think about it, you rack the slide that your scope is mounted to? You have lots of room in front of the scope so just install a standard racker. It will also make table starts easier. Another option would be front serrations and rack it from there. Thanks, Eric
MrPostman
I could cut another dovetail either in front of the mount or under it for a racker if that appeals to you.
Garmil
Mr. Postman does great work I'd go with that option!

My father always told me "if you're gonna do anything always do your best" He made me kinda anal, but hey it is very good advice
