Malarkey
Just got 1000 rounds of 147gr BBI's and i need a load for 135 power factor and titegroup. I used 3.5gr for my 135BBI's and got between a 138-141pf, which seems a bit on the high side of what other people are getting. I am thinking 3.0-3.2gr. Let me know what you think. Superpipe9
Try 3.3 then slowly go down till you get what you want. Let me know when you get them loaded up and we will hit the range and chrono them
Gunnar
This is the load I shoot. 147gr, 3.2gr titegroup, 1.120 oal. This is giving my Stock 2 135 pf.
slavex
Out of my Stock II I use 3.4grs of TG with 147gr CamPro plated bullets and get 135PF.
Malarkey
Out of my Stock II I use 3.4grs of TG with 147gr CamPro plated bullets and get 135PF. Thanks guys! I am thinking about 3.2-3.2 for the load. I don't have the luxury of a range and chrono to test these out before the Tennessee sectional match. It seems like anything over about 3.1 will give >=130pf
slavex
3.1 sounds awfully low to me. I use that in my Shadow for my Steel Challenge load it's about 120PF
vixty
My stock ii is always hotter than my shadow. I thing the barrel is a tad tighter
Malarkey
Just for reference, i had 3.3gr of TG at 1.09OAL behind a 147gr and made 138pf out of my stock
slavex
wow, that's impressive for that little of powder. I just loaded some Steel Challenge loads, 3.2grs of TG under 147gr CamPros, out of my Shadow it's now 128pf and out of my Tanfo it came in at 129pf. That load used to be, with a different lot of powder, 123pf. I didn't load the 3.1grs like I used to as I just felt like it was asking for trouble after talking to a few people.
