mattmann
I have 2 glock 29 pistols (10mm), one of which I've been debating getting rid of. A gunsmith buddy of mine has a brand new in the box sti spartan V 9mm he was showing me that he says he is doing nothing with and I said well I'll trade you this glock with night sights and a trigger job and now he is wanting to trade straight....is this a smart move on my end? I've been wanting a 9mm 1911 to compete with in uspsa so I was thinking this would be a good starting platform? He actually did a trigger job to it, shot it, then put it up. What's yalls opinions? Thanks in advance!
warpspeed
I'm not sure I understand but if I had two G29s and I could trade one of the for a 1911 in 9mm I'd do it without a second thought. I don't understand the " now he wants to trade straight "
Steve RA
If both guns are in about the same condition I'd jump on that - rapidly.
Hi-Power Jack
I'd give his gun a thorough examination (take it apart) and fire it - see if it's the gun you want.
mattmann
I guess I meant I said it jokingly thinking he wouldn't do it and now (as in today) he texted me and " I will do a straight trade if you want". I handled it today and took it down. Looks really nice. Again I don't need two glock 10mm so I saw no point in keeping them
Mahlsan
Sounds like a good trade to me. Unless one is a backup to your comp gun.
