CZinSC
Getting ready to start loading a new batch of BBI. They are the newer profile 180, without the lube groove. Has anyone reloaded these that had been using the previous profile with the lube groove? Other than OAL, did your powder charge have to change at all? TIA
trouble
I never loaded any of the BBI old profile but the new profile 180 works great for me.
Sturdy
No changes necessary for me. Same powder, OAL, crimp, etc.
MRevolutionIX
I recently loaded some of their new profile bullets and shot them today. No changes in OAL, powder charge, accuracy or reliability compared to the old profile. I am using a dillion seat die btw.

SNSCaster2
Typically when going from a grooved bullet to non grooved, you will lose a little velocity.
mike4045
With another maker the removal of the lube groove added bullet weight to 185 gr. This was a couple of years ago. Same powder charge.
