BuckRimfire
I have a Wonder Finish Witness with a fixed rear sight (bought Dec 2012, square slide, I think) that has always shot a little low for me at 25 yards. I'd like to play with it at longer ranges on steel targets, up to 100 yards. Is there a replacement adjustable rear sight that won't bottom out too much higher than the factory sight but can go up enough for long range? BuckRimfire
I guess the specific question is whether the Supersight or LPA adjustable sights in the EAA catalog are going to work with my slide. I should have measured the height of the front sight but I'm not going to be able to get my hands on it for 2-3 weeks now.
Nealio
Can you post a pic of the slide so we can see what sights are on it now ?
BuckRimfire
I don't have a photo of it now. Silly of me to ask this question when it's out of my hands for a couple of weeks and I can't take photos or make measurements. I'll return when I get it back. legionofdoon
I know this is a semi zombie thread but the crosman MIM rear sight for the steel breach air pistols are the same dovetail as the Witness steel frame. It is adjustable. I bought one from pyramid air recently. It is around 50 bucks and is made by LPA. Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
MrPostman
You could shave down the front sight some to elevate the hits at longer ranges. I have cut a standard sight cut slide for an adjustable sight with my mill, if you are going to put an adjustable sight on it you will probably want it cut into the slide like the one on a Limited. If not then it will sit on top of the slide and may be too high to sight it in correctly.
