fastluck13
Why is a 14 lb recoil spring typical for Single Stack (major) yet 12 is the norm for a limited gun? Is it really just feel?
Hi-Power Jack
I don't know, either, but Could it Possibly be the difference between .45 and .40?
sbo76
Frames are different but I don't know if this is the cause....subscribing.
mach1soldier
Most limited guns have lighter slides, some have more front end weight so you don't need as much push down on the front of the gun. I run a 14 in my SS just because the feeding is better. Shoots smoother with a 13lb but isn't as reliable.
arnettcw1
In speaking with Bob at Brazos, he suggests running a 12 lb variable in his limited guns because the slide is lightened so there is less reciprocating mass vs. a standard 1911.
