earthshine402 Posted July 21, 2015 Share Posted July 21, 2015 Does anyone have any experience using Dawson base pads on these Tripp 10mm mags - I am interested in using the Dawson no gap magwell, and realize it requires special base pads. Wondering if these pads still work on these specific mags and if they fit the USPSA box, or if there are any issues... Does using an EGW higher mag catch matter at all? JayDee Posted August 8, 2015 Share Posted August 8, 2015 With 9 round mags, the no gap bases are needed to work with no gap mag well. Also, the 10 round 10mm mags fit with stock bases because they are longer. The base needs to be sanded a tiny bit to fit in the box. I used these at SS Nats.
