revchuck
Went to a gun show today and found a good deal on some Bullseye, so I bought a four pound can. I've got several manuals, but I'm looking for info on a charge that will give me ~800 fps from a Gubmint Model (as opposed to a pressure barrel) with a 230 grain RNL. Thanks! revchuck
Canuck - Thanks! I tried 4.8 grains at the same length you listed and it went 817 fps (mixed brass, Fed 150 primer). harmongreer - I guess those magnum primers make a difference, eh? ipscron2000
I used BE for a couple of years until one match. At 9am it made 164 PF and at 11am it made 177 PF. It is too sensitive to temp changes for me.
ParaJoe
5.0 grains runs an average of 975fps in my gun. 3.8 makes them hover around 725, which makes major so that's what I've been using. Pistol is a Para P14.45 LTD. JOe
