Lead bullets tend to lead your barrel less if they are properly sized.

So what is "properly sized". I am kind of new to reloading and am considering going to lead bullets. But thought I should start with a coated version. I even bought 250 of the 180 gr FN blue bullets based on an article I read.

Please correct me here but I think with the .400 size accuracy declines, with the .402 you might have trouble chambering. Also you would think a tighter fit in the bore would elevate the chamber pressure? If these are correct assumptions then why even make/sell smaller or larger bullets?

Your input is appreciated as I continue my education in the art of reloading.
