pmd
Does anyone know what the barrel twist rate of the Performance Center's model 627 eight shot revolver in 38 super. I assume the dia. is .356 Thanks in advance. PMD
revchuck
PMD - The standard twist for both S&W 9mm and .38/.357 barrels is 1 in 18-3/4. My guess is that that's what the .38 Super is.

Leroy
PDM, I have 2 of the 38 super 8 shots and one 6 shot.. I use 9mm .355 all the time and get great groups.. I like the hornaday HAP's and also the zero fmj all hollow points. The Hornay's say .356 on the box but they are really .355... Leroy
pmd
Leroy, What weight bullets are you using? Thanks. PMD
Leroy
PMD I am using 125 grain bullets with 4.1 grains of VV n 320.. aol 1.250. Now the zero 38 super bullets are .356 but i get the same goups with haps.. so IMHO both are good. Leroy
