Fordfan485
Anyone have a picture of the back and side view of the Safariland 333 speedloader holder? I am thinking of getting two of these and drilling them to accept 1 or 2 els forks to it. I figured this would be a cheap way to use my 686 SSR for USPSA compared to say buying North Mountain Icore Retro speedloader holder for $180. Carmoney
I don't know that I would count on the 333 to reliably retain the speedloaders during strenuous activity. Just sayin'.....
RePete
When I first started shooting IPSC revolver, I used the 333's and didn't have any problems, but I can see where one could.
Intel6
The earlier versions just used to have the internal clips inside the cups to hold the speed loaders and then they started putting the kydex tabs on them also. Big improvement with the tabs over the clips as they held in the speed loader much better. You can see both in the top pic in RePete's post. I used them shooting action pistol matches (back in the 90's with a Bill Davis PPC revo ) with comp III's and they worked fine. I guess it would depend on how strenuous a match it is? RePete
The earlier ones would only use Comp II's and maybe Comp I's, but the later version you could use the Comp III's.
