CANDERSEN
Thinking about building a gun using a Lone Wolf Stainless Steel Slide - one of my concerns is galling. For those of you who have or used a Lone Wolf Slide has galling been an issue?? Thanks Chris
bowenbuilt
No galling or any other issues with 3 different guns. A 24, 34 and a 21 tactical. Probably 40k rounds between these guns without a single issue with the slide or barrel.

9x45
OP, Alot of weapon platforms run SS barrels and SS slides. Why do you think there would be a issue with that?
CANDERSEN
I was researching aftermarket Glock slides, all of which are made of stainless steel. I came across a post in another forum in which an individual claimed galling issues with his Lone Wolf slide and the metal rails in his Glock frame. I know that similar (hardness??) stainless steel surfaces can gall (I have seen this happen on stainless Caspian slides and receivers). Before I took the plunge and purchased a Lone Wolf slide I wanted to see if anyone else had experienced this issue as alleged by this other individual. 9x45
Only have about 20K on my LoneWolf upper, with Lone Wolf barrel, haven't noticed anything going on with the frame rails or the grooves in the slide.
