MarkCO
So I finally had a match where I can say that my weight loss of 32 pounds did benefit me. I ran, and shot the MEGA stage match and moved up one spot from last year. However, I closed the raw time differential between myself and a few of the more physically fit competitors. On the precision portion, I was 4th, and most of that was due to not breathing as hard from the almost 300 yards of running, 200 plus seconds and 200 plus rounds of ammo fired just prior. If I had not had an issue with a few pieces of steel at 30 yards with pistol, I would have done better in the raw time area. I have another 25-30 to go, but I am seeing some benefits. thermobollocks
Rock on! Sorry I missed it. That match last year was a huge wakeup call that I probably shouldn't bonk after that much hauling butt if there's people going five kilometers or something every morning for giggles.
