Derwoodski Posted December 3, 2014 Share Posted December 3, 2014 What kind of factory ammo? the only factory ammo I ever had trouble with was Blazer aluminum case ammo, any factory brass case rounds or reloads have always functioned perfectly. trgt Posted December 4, 2014 Share Posted December 4, 2014 A SP01 Shadow I had was a jam-o-matic (stovepipes) with Remington UMC 9mm and the stock springs. I think that lot of ammo chrono'd at 110PF. And troubleshooting the problem, I heard the stock CZ springs are set up stiff for European 9mm loads with more of a punch? Lighter recoil springs, and ammo above 125 PF and I've never had further problems. Also if the gun is new, it might need 130PF+ ammo to cycle reliably until broken in, when everything is a bit stiffer? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
