SWprotected
I have an eagle ordered and am looking for a magwell that is IDPA legal. Who makes one that will fit in the box other than the STI tactical?
Aircooled6racer
Hello: If you can find an old SVI magwell for the plastic grip it will fit. The Krebs will fit, they are either plastic or steel but no longer made. I just get a standard STI magwell and mill down the sides to fit the box. It works better than the STI tactical model for me. Thanks, Eric
shotgunone
I use the STI Tactical because it works with the factory 126mm mags and base pads. It also has cutouts so you can grab the mag and pull it out if you need to.

GMANROD
Is the magazine release button able to be swapped out for left handed shooters (ambi). I'm interested in the STI EAGLE 5.0 but just want to verify whether the magazine release button is ambi?

shotgunone
The button is not ambidextrous as it comes, but I believe there is a company that makes an aftermarket release that switches the release to the right side.
