galt11
Sorry, my search-fu is weak today. I realize it doesn't need to be fancy or complicated, but does anyone have a set of plans for a chrono box? I would prefer to only have to buy supplies to build it once, not like my normal adventures. Thanks Adam
Round_Gun_Shooter
I have a set from CED. Used them and it makes a nice box. Send me an email TY43215 (at) comcast.net and I will send them.
Intel6
Attached is a 2 page article on the CED chronograph by Greg Lent the "Chronoman" In It he shows a chrono box and at the bottom there are plans and dimensions for it. Not sure if this is the same thing RGS is talking about? Neal in AZ CED Chronoman report article.pdf Edited November 12, 2014 by Intel6
Braxton1
I did something a little different when I built mine. I went for pure "structural strength" and made the sides solid. I didn't put the door on the side; I just access everything from the ends. Before next season, I am working on another version that will have the Infrared emitters permanently mounted in the roof of the box and the sensors semi-permanently mounted in the floor. This will eliminate the sidearms (which are what get shot the most) and make the box a LOT smaller. I want to have two units set up on top of each other so that the box will only be 3 feet long instead of 6. Work on this was started, then I got lazy because I assumed that I'd have my doppler chronograph by now (DANG IT!!!)
