CANDERSEN
Does anyone have any experience with the Wilson Combat 9mm Block barrels?? How do they compare to KKM or Storm Lake? I would realy like a barrel that is slighty oversize so i can fit it myself.

If you want a barrel you can fit yourself, I'd recommend the KKM, however, for WIW, I get IDENTICAL groupings at 25y with a drop in Lone Wolf. The only difference is the $70 in my pocket. ;-)Just my $0.02 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
JBP55
The KKM, Wilson and LWD are all drop in and I prefer the KKM which has the best lock up.
CANDERSEN
Am I right in saying that only Barsto offers a "gunsmith" fit barrel?
JBP55
I think Jarvis still fits barrels as well.
HOGRIDER
Am I right in saying that only Barsto offers a "gunsmith" fit barrel? IIRC, BarSto still offers a gunsmith fit and a semi-drop in..... I installed the semi in my G17G4, and fitting was fairly easy with great lockup: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/363909/bar-sto-semi-drop-in-barrel-glock-17-9mm-luger-1-in-16-twist-4-1-2-stainless-steel?cm_vc=ProductFinding HR Edited October 7, 2014 by HOGRIDER
DreGarciaTAT2
Oh!! And Briley.
CANDERSEN
Yes, I just remembered Briley, but apparently Brownells does not carry them anymore.
theblacknight
KKM WILL make you a oversized hood, but based on the fit of their "drop in" barrels, most people don't usually spend the entra time to fit one.

wbyrd01
Good info in this thread. I've been thinking about replacing the barrel in my 34 and am wondering if the cost is justified. I've only been shooting steel for a couple of months but want to get more in to USPSA. Is a new barrel going to help me enough to justify the cost?
