Anyone use a full tungsten guide rod in this gun. Since it only weighs 1 oz. more that stock, does it make any difference in muzzle rise or recoil?

Im running one, can't say that I feel it making a difference. I mainly got it because I wanted uncaptured springs for tuning.

I cannot tell the difference between the long stainless steel and the long tungsten guide rods. The biggest difference in feel came from changing spring weights.

I run the long tungsten guide rod. I can feel the difference in the balance of the gun between it and the stock stainless guide rod. I like the little bit more forward balance of the tungsten. Its not a big change but noticible.

With regards to recoil , I do NOT notice a difference.

Recoil spring g weights make a big difference to the feel of recoil.

What kind of springs have you guys been using? Ive never tried anything except the stock 17lb setup.

Edit: I guess I should add that Im running a 147g at 940fps.

15# ISMI is what I settled on. I've tried the 17, 15 and 13 and found I shot best with the 15.
