promag problems

I just bought two CZ 75 promags for my sp01 (the price was too good to pass up so dont hate just help). The mags fit fine and cycle fine but dont fall freely from magwell. Any suggestions on what to do?

take off the grips and take out the magbrake

see where the contact points are.

if will fall out with these out, add back one at a time and see which one is causing the hang up.

if the mags still stick with all these out. you may need to try and squeeze the tubes slightly. if that is not it, then you may need to modify your magwell and frame to allow it.

or chalk it all up to why dont you just buy mecgar mags for $22 each.

Mec-Gars for the 75 sell for between $22 and $28 just about everywhere that carries them

JFYI, the 18 round MecGar's will get you bumped to Open. The mags themselves are legal for Production, but they are just a wee bit too big, and will cause the gun/mag to not fit the box if you should ever get checked at a Major.
