danjordan78
Do people try to run the same platform from gun to gun or do you switch it up. Currently shooting a 2011 in open and 1911 in limited/SS. Both are 9mm. Thinking about changing to both being 2011s. Thoughts? What do you all do?
8shooter
I would only think the grip feel would be different, might be cheaper to put a set of grips on the SS that make it feel like a DS. Pinnacle used to make a set not sure if they still do.
Service Desk
Get a set of 1920 grip panels and make the 1911 feel like the 2011.... Dsperman.com can get you setup.
2MoreChains
I just shoot whatever gun I happen to be shooting that month in USPSA. I also found that new guns have a way of re prioritizing what you want to shoot. Case in point, not a new gun but first time all the components have been mated together, I shot Rimfire Open for the very first time at last week's match using my Marvel 1 on a 1911 frame and a C-More. Damn, that was fun!
