davester00
I'm running low on my batch of Bear Creek Moly bullets. Can't seem to find them anymore. I was wondering if any of you guys have a good link on a bulk buy. In a few months I'm looking to get 10k .45 ACP 230grn RN bullets either moly or plated to feed my 5" 1911. Please provide weblinks. Thanks in advance. Edited July 9, 2014 by davester00
ZackJones
http://www.thebluebullets.com/product-p/675-230-45.htm You can also email them and ask for a quote for 10K. I'm sure they'd hook you up.

davester00
Since I could get plated bullets at about the same price, what have you guys found to be more accurate? I'm loading 230grn RN over 5.0-5.1 Solo 1000. Let me know if you guys have any insight on what is more accurate and less smokey?
jcc7x7
I've had much better consistency with Hi-tek coated lead or just plain lead than with any plated bullet. BUT Lots of other folks have good success with them. I buy Bayou and SnS Hi-tek coated bullets. Get great accuracy and zero leading out of 9mm minor, 40 and 45 major Power Factor loads, again with no leading at ALL. So satisfied with the hi-tek coating that I'm testing right now for my 38 super comp. and with only a couple of hundred bullets I've found no problem to date. I'm not doing anything other tan shooting them. No special lube or oils in comp etc to date.
