sandrooney
Does an extended firing pin help set off rounds with high primers ?
ParaGunner
It helps, but it's no guarantee.
OPENB
Same with hard or rifle primers and light mainsprings, helps but not a guarantee.

BeerBaron
yeah it helps, but a much better option for reliability is make sure all the primers are seated nice and deep!
sandrooney
Yes I will make sure of the primer depth from now on. I have a bunch loaded that may have some high primers and I was thinking of installing an extended FP anyway so thought I would ask. Thanks for all the responses.
