Thinking of picking up an STi Executive from grabagun Dawson has a hardchromed CRP Edge for $2340 https://www.dawsonprecision.com/ProductDetail.jsp?LISTID=80000DB5-1388518190 grabagun has an Executive for $2187 http://grabagun.com/sti-international-5-0-executive-40sw.html I was told that the executive is pretty much a hardchromed edge. It also comes standard with the dawson fiber optic front sight and an STi stainless magwell The dawson CRP Edge comes with a dawson FO front sight, an ice magwell, and dawson magbutton looks like the only thing I'm giving up with the Executive is the dawson mag button. disxbxjun Posted March 8, 2014 Share Posted March 8, 2014 The Executive is a stock gun from STI. It may run as is or need some minor tuning. The Dawson is semi-custom and eliminates the hassle of getting the gun to run reliably straight out of the box. Guess you would have to decide if that difference in price is worth it.
