Tom Brannon
Looking for load data for BBI 125 9mm with WSF and will shooting out of Glock 34 minor PF. I'm sure there is already a thread giving the info, but after 10 of searching I decided to just ask.
GJGary
BBI 125gn moly WSF 4.6gn 1.10oal was 127pf for me. I am soon to load up with the new HI-TEK coating and it will be 4.7 because with other powders I found the new coating to run a little slower than the moly. 4.7" barrel
Tom Brannon
I'd like to get around 135 PF, that way I know I'll make Power Factor at matches.... I may need to find a new powder
GJGary
WSF will get to 135pf no problem, it is a very good powder for 9mm. Do you have the new coating or older Moly? What is the length of your barrel? Longer barrel faster chrono reading. If you have the new coating I could chrono a couple at 4.7 and 4.8gn. I have more data for BBI WSF will dig for it. rtp
I'd like to get around 135 PF, that way I know I'll make Power Factor at matches.... I may need to find a new powder Why would you need a new powder? I'd bet 4.6-4.7gr gets you there. I'm close to or over 135PF with 4.9gr WSF 124gr MG JHP@1.065" Edited February 26, 2014 by rtp
IDescribe
With Hodgdon/Win/IMR and that bullet, I've used the load data for the 125gr LRN at their website/database. It would be a good place to start. Edited February 26, 2014 by IDescribe
Tom Brannon
My reloading book & their web site doesn't cover WSF 125gr lead bullets.
rtp
I'd call this one certainly close enough. Winchester 124gr LRN: Min: 4.0gr 945fps 22,200PSI Max: 4.7gr 1055fps 27,300PSI and 124gr FMJ: Min: 4.7gr 1015fps 27,700PSI Max: 5.3gr 1115fps 32,700PSI
jcc7x7
been shoot 4.8 WSF for years with MG or HAP jackets use 4.4-4.6gr with lead bullets and Bayou coated 124/125 bullets. Chrono to make sure but 1.8 seems to get a good margin of error in all my 9's
