Lior
Dear folks, How does the trigger of the TS compare to a SP01 Shadow that has had a single action trigger job? I ask because of the concurrent existence of the 9mm TS and single action only Shadow retrofits, and was wondering what the virtues of a 9mm TS over a Shadow would be in IPSC standard minor power factor. Any responses would be welcome - Lior.
kneelingatlas
Lior, I have had both and I can tell you the TS starts out better and has better potential than the Shadow because of its unique trigger bar and trigger return spring design. My TS with the race hammer and polish job is better than all but one 2011 I've dry fired (that one $3,000 custom was AS good ). With the Shadow you have to use a light hammer spring to get a sub 2lb break (taking away from the "crispness"), but my TS trigger is 1lb, 9oz with a 20lb hammer spring and it snaps like glass.
