Winder
I've been out of the Glock world for a while shooting 1911's but have gravitated back buying a G34 for 3-gun about a year ago. Last night I tore it down to do some polishing and found that I have a stock 5 lb connector. I remember some flap a while back about this or that connector being called a 4.5 lb and so on but I thought traditionally all of the long slides came with the 3.5 lb connector. pevadijk
i thought that 34's originally supplied to LE's don't always have the '-' connector and usually these versions also have fixed sights. JBP55
White label and Red label G34/G35 Glocks ship with a 4.5# connector unless ordered orherwise. In Blue Label Gen 3 ships with a 5.5# connector and Gen 4 ships with a 5.0# connector unless oredered otherwise. The 5.5 has no mark, the 5.0 has a dot and the 4.5 has a dash. Winder
Roger that JBP, thanks for the info. Does the 8lb still have the plus or does that not exist anymore?
JBP55
I far as I know yes, but I do not know anyone that uses that connector. The very few that want a heavier trigger use a NY1 trigger spring combined with a - connector for a pull of approximately 7.0# with a very good reset. My weak arthritic hands do not like heavy trigger pulls so no NY1 for me.
practical_man
As JPB said, my blue label guns have the 5.5 connector. I do like the combination of the NY1 plastic spring (with the metal spring removed) and the "-" connector. Very firm reset and consistent feel to the trigger.
