Anybody shooting an Open Glock?

I'm thinking of turning my G24 into an open gun.

Suggestions on where to start? Pictures?

Yes, but I don't think the 24 is the best place to start, even for a 40 cal, most people prefer the shorter barrels of g17/22 size pistols. If you add a comp to the end of a 24 that would be a long gun. If you want to use the 24 because you have it I would put in a ported barrel and throw a slide mounted dot on it and go have fun giving open a try. The ported barrel will tame muzzle flip but won't soften the recoil any.

Good point on the length. Maybe I'll start on the G22 and keep the 24 for Limited.

There is a huge thread on Open Glocks in the GLOCK area. I do not suggest a 24 that's crazy use that for limited. Get a 17 or 22 and get a conversion barrel for 22 and build one up
