Smitty79 Posted August 30, 2013 Share Posted August 30, 2013 I picked up action shooting last spring. I did a benefit match last weekend, knowing I wasn't ready. On the pure pistol stages, I was mid pack. On any stage with a rifle, I was bottom 10%. All I had done to practice with my AR was sight it it. I had never done any position shooting with it and I had never shot it fast. I have read Brian Enos' and Ben Stoeger's pistol books. What's a good starting reference for action rifle shooting?
