Can anyone tell me if the Short reset trigger kit that CGW offers achieves the same reset as the CZC short reset they have to install. CZC does not sell just the parts needed to shorten the trigger pull in DA. and SA. CGW says their kit will move the DA pull back 5mm.

There is a drop in version available now

If the FPB is removed on a SP01 with disconnect work? How much will it move the trigger back in DA

It does not change the position of the trigger in DA. to change the trigger position in DA ( in battery position at the start ) is not allowed in the USPSA Production rules per 21.1

I haven't had the opportunity to play with CGWs new parts. lots of other folks have put in the time and will have information for you.

Rule 21.5 says disconnectors are internal and can be changed. Will this disconnector move the hammer rearward ?

eerw,

Is correct. The only way to change the static position of the trigger is "short" machine the disco and offset mill/tap a pre-travel into the upper recesses of the trigger. The trigger mod is not legal for production. Takes both the short disco and modified trigger to relocate the trigger.
