mscott
I'm using 3.6gr of WST loaded to 1.135, which gets me a power factor of 135.

steel1212
I think I used 3.8 wst for about 135 out of my shadows.
shane8168
Loaded some lead round nose 147's the other day at 3.5 grains WST and LOVED them. I can't tell you the exact Chrono results, but my calibrated hands put them a few PF points over 125 minimum! They were nice and soft shooting! Shadows here also. pskys2
Curious have you chrono'd the loads much? In .45acp years past WST was inverse temp sensitive, it lost velocity as it got hotter. Was wondering if in smaller cases that held true?

bodene 5
no I have not trying to use up my 231 first 231=3.4. @ 1.135 makes 129 / 130 pf at 70 deg
billy396
I like 231 and WST. I've used 231 for many more years, but I have had great results with the 10 or 12 lbs of WST that I've gone through so far. Unfortunately, the powder selection around here has become spotty, to say the least.

Rokihsa
Starter load for me. I will work up from there. This board has taught me one thing. Start light and be scared. I am probably only about 2k rounds into loading. Edited December 8, 2013 by Rokihsa
njl
Well, don't load too many at 3.1, because I'd be worried about cycling issues and slow bullets.
