stevo629
Im looking for input/recipes on 40 S&W with Power Pistol. Im using CCI primers and hope to use Rainier 165 grain plated FN? There doesnt seem to be much info in my reload manuals with 165 gr.
motosapiens
fortunately, it's pretty much impossible to blow yourself up with power pistol. there are even lots of compressed loads out there, so you can just guess or extrapolate, or use a few tenths more than the recommended load with 180gr. Do you need it to make major? I've used pp with 165's but only for plinking and for self-defense practice loads, since the recoil is so much greater than with most competition-oriented powders. I'm not sure if I bothered chronoing them or not.
Silver_Surfer
40 S&W Load Data - Handloads.Com - Handloads Online, the … handloads.com/loaddata/default.asp?Caliber=40%20SqqqW&Weight=180&... Good place to get a baseline data. ***Caveat, like always!*** Edited May 1, 2013 by Silver_Surfer
