Min
According to EAA the Stock III is 43 oz. I thought IDPA SSP weight limit was 43 oz? Edited September 28, 2013 by Min
Onagoth
I suspect EAA did not have the mag in the gun when they weighed it. According to the USPSA production list, the stock 3 is 45.85 ounces....well over the limit. According to our Canadian distributor who actual weighed the gun with a mag in, (stock 3 special) the weight was 44 oz. My extreme should be coming in Dec-ish, I can weight it myself, but I am certain our distributor is right. Min
Darn. I really wanted that gun for IDPA SSP. Anyway to shave 2 oz off the gun?
Onagoth
Darn. I really wanted that gun for IDPA SSP. Anyway to shave 2 oz off the gun? Not totally sure, but I doubt it. Usually grips and mags are the fastest way to shave weight, but I suspect these are already quite light. I had the same thought as you, but sadly I don't think its gonna work.
