Miranda
forumers, The trial is to determine what he did and what we should do with him. I doubt that any one who is planning acts of terror will be swayed away from those plans by a proper trial. The truth and facts are usually ignored to become a terrorist. Given what little I know about terrorism, I'd think jailing him for the rest of his life might be a much more scary punishment to them. In any case, it will be awhile before any decision is made. keep in mind that the trial is also for us. We will know, with little room for doubt, what he did. At least we had cause for our actions against him unlike the victims of his actions. miranda
bountyhunter
We are better off taking the high road, and let justice prevail. Always. The worst mistake is to "suspend" the rights of law because of a "threat". It's the excuse that every tinpot dictator on earth uses when they invoke martial law and suspend freedom. Give him the best attorney, a full trial.... then fry him. There is already overwhelming evidence, the whole world should see it. Koppi
I swore and oath to defend the Constitution. We must remember that, when it comes time to apply the law of this land, it applies to "All" it's citizens. What will You say when they come knocking on your door? And better yet, what will your neighbor say? I'm more worried about the rule of law as it applies to all of US after this man has his day in court. We all need to stand up for the Constitution, Bill of Rights and the rule of law, no matter how pissed off we are at the treasonous murdering traitor!
