mikeg1005
I've always wondered how many 1911s and 2011s will actually run on SAAMI spec length ammo... everyone loads to 1.185-1.200"... but I'm curious if this just because "everyone" does it.. or because 1911s and 2011s in 40sw by design are just not reliable. By "run" I mean that you would confidentally shoot major matches, or carry it... not just a box of ammo without hiccups. I've only ran about 100rds through my Edge, it never had a problem... my SA Loaded was so so... flawless on 1.185" OAL. Mike. G34 CORDY
My old edge would not run factory ammo reliable but 1.180 or longer yes. My Springfield RO ran factory flawless.
jswitt99
My edge runs everything I feed it. I reload @1.14.
assaulter
Mine runs reliably now, but that was not always the case. Maybe it needed a breakin period?
40S&W
My 1911 & 2011 run decent factory ammo & reloads, HP, Truncated, RSFP, and RN. Both guns run unramped barrels.
