speed2345 Posted September 17, 2004 Share Posted September 17, 2004 Hi, I am gonna get a new bb gun because my old one is too weak, but I don't know what guns are good. My old one was passed down from my mom's grandfather. I want something pretty cheap, like around $30 if possible, but I want something that will shoot over 2' and is fairly accurate and reliable. Great because it had a magazine that held a billion rounds, was reliable, held minute of chipmunk, and more than powerful enough to put your eye out! EricW Posted September 17, 2004 Share Posted September 17, 2004 The original Red Ryder. Lists for $45, so it should be in the $30 range at a discount store. Definitely get the wood stocked version. My Daisy was a 1894 pattern gun. It was really cool. Spring fed magazine just like the big gun. Hammer had to be cocked back to shoot. Of course, they don't make 'em anymore. I have one of each, the Red Ryder for me:) and the Buck for my 7 year old daughter:) Those evil pop cans don't stand a chance when we are around.
