nipplehead
Looking for feedback as to what barrel you guys think is the most accurate for shooting jacketed 45. Im building a single stack will be shooting 165 powerfactor jacketed bullets .this is a competition gun only.
Guest Larry Cazes
Based on my most recent purchase, the nicest barrel that I have seen so far is from KART. Extremely smooth groove and land surfaces almost as nice as the shilen barrel on my $2000.00+ benchrest rifle. Cleans very easy with NO copper fouling and shoots more acurately then any other handgun I own.
reneet
Based on barrel testing we've done, KART is a good choice. BARSTO and CLARK also print well from the barrel tester. Looks are not always the best way to judge accuracy potential. Whatever you do, don't let the installer overthroat the lead! Seen several barrels ruined like that. John Dunn
A buddy has a tack driving Kart barreled .45, I have an awesome shooting .45 with a Bar-Sto, heard good things about Schuemann's barrels, don't think you could go wrong with any of those. nipplehead
Are all you guys with the Kart are shooting jacketed ? I was leaning toward Kart but heard (Maybe incorectly) that Kart was better with Lead Thanks guys!
Derek45
KART 910-754-5212 Call Fred Kart and ask him about jacketed bullets in his barrels. I've called him in the past with questions, and he's always taken the time to talk to me. Nice guy Excellent barrels
