apriav
Has anybody shot shot shells out of a rifle slug barrel (rifled)? What dose the pattern do, what choke (cylinder)?
RiggerJJ
It won't knock a popper over 10 feet away...pattern at 10 yds is about 6 feet...in other words, a rifled shotgun barrel is good for slugs only. jj

Hmmm.
RiggerJJ
Trub is it won't knock anything over...even those lame plates you speak of. I watched a guy once try a rifled barrel on a star. From about 8 yards with one shot it hit all 5 plates, but none of them moved....we all laughed so hard we were crying... the guy with the rifled shotgun barrel was not amused in the least. He really thought he had found THE answer... jj

Dan Sierpina
Seems great for the one pellet hole in a clay, though.
