Night sights for my XD

I'm thinking of putting a set of Night sights on my XD sub compact in .40 cal. What's the best brand? Which is the brightest?

I need to find a holster that comfortable and concealable. Is leather better than Nylon? What's the best brand?

Trijicon makes good ones, as does IWI aka PT Nightsights. The IWI might be less expensive, but they are very good.

Heinie is my choice each and every time.

I prfer the Trijicons which Hienies have. I have have found the PT (IWI) night sights to be less bright and dim out quite a bit faster than the Trijicon sights. I also find the Hienie sights to be my personal favorite for just about everything.

Thanks for the in-site, I can't afford to buy two of sets of sights to learn which is best.

I don't know if they make a set for the XD (I think Sig sights are compatible), but Meprolights seem to be the brightest sight on the market....which may or may not be a good thing depending if your eyes are normally dark-adapted where you'll be carrying.

From the ones I've seen, Trijicons are the brightest. The cool thing about the Meprolights is the white outline around the tritium tube is actually a solid plastic insert instead of paint. Heinie sights do have a nice shape if you like it.
