AR-10 260 Remington

Have a AR-10 Armalite-20" bbl-SS Bull bbl config.-1:8" twist.Am starting to develope accuracy loads for rifle using 139-142 gr bullets.I have the following powders-4064,4350,4831,RL19 and N150. Can anyone suggest a powder that I may try first to test for accuracy.Thanks for help

4350 works for most everybody

I rebarreled my OBR to 260 last year.

While the 139/142s are a good bullet, in a gas gun the bullet eats up too much powder space.

I have had better luck with 123s and H4350.

I found the same thing as Tom, even using different powders. 107-130 gave the best results in the gas guns. I used H4350 as well as Ramshot Hunter and H4831SC.

There is some load data here with the Hunter and 4831SC if you are interested.

Have a AR-10 Armalite-22" bbl-SS Bull bbl config.-1:8" twist,according to Armalite SS bbl was hand lapped three times. Am starting to develope accuracy loads for rifle using 139-142 gr bullets.I have the following powders-4064,4350,4831,RL19,H414 and N150. Can anyone suggest a powder that I may try first to test for accuracy.I am hoping for 1/2" accuracy at 100 yards.Thanks for help
