Older sv mag options

Looking for a good combo of followers and springs to use with Dawson snl base pad. I'm currently running Wolff springs and old sv fallowers. They gave me fits all day yesterday, the springs are only 4 months old and two of them are already loosing strenght. Just looking for help. Oh and they are cleaned every time I drop them on the ground.

I assume you are referring to what I think SV called competition followers ( I think 40 was red, .38 sup was purple)? If so I had better luck with ISMI springs. I now run grams springs and followers in that kind of mag.

Grams springs and followers are always a great option. If you are pushing for maximum capacity, SV mags usually play nicely with Bolen guts (now Taran Tactical).

Yes, sorry. Do you use that setup with snl base pads?

I prefer the Grams guts across the board, but I have used both with Dawson (+1 and SNL), Grams 4mm, and Bolen 3-4mm.

i use, a grams follower + spring, in my 160mm sv mag, with custom basepad, and i use them also on my 140mm sti mags with +1 snl basepads, if i put a snl basepad on my sv mag it also works great.

Grams!! I have 2 sets of 4 SV mags all have grams, reload 20 and run without issues. All I could ask for. Oh and I do have one that I can start with, but it is not an SV .
