Skydiver
If you call EAA, they can tell you by serial number. If you break out a ruler or tape measure: Henning's site can tell you: http://henningshootsguns.com/shop/magpads.html Scroll all the way down to the H-141. He's got the measurements of large vs. small frame magazines.

Skydiver
I've always had good luck calling at around 10AM Pacific time... Must be right after lunch for them and there is somebody close to the phone.
Jimdoe
I've always had luck with them as well. Matter of fact I called them yesterday around 0900 central time and they were able to help me with my question.
kneelingatlas
Look at the bottom of the grip, if it has a mainspring plug, it's small framed, if not, large framed; the small frame guns have a hammer spring inside the back strap like CZs, but the large frame models have a transverse hammer spring to keep the grip from getting too big (something the CZ guys forgot to do with the 97B). Mo Hepworth
sorry,..but that is not entirely correct. I have small and large frame guns,.and they both have the short transverse hammer spring. The OLDER EAA guns may have the older CZ style mainspring plug.
