38SuperDub
So I got my mags from Henning today - started putting some reloads that I had made up in the mag and def ran into some issues - they are loaded at 1.170. I think grabbed some WWB that I had - and BAM 21 went in EASY. It appeared that the long ammo was catching the corners of the mag and that was causing issue. So my question - WHAT LENGTH?!?! Skydiver
If the mags are stamped with K40 on the sides, load to SAAMI spec length: 1.135". If the mags are stamped with a T in a triangle, and says either 10mm or .40, then CHA-LEE recommends 1.225" if I remember correctly. I load to 1.185" with Montana Gold CMJs. PHX
I use the K40 mecgar mags and load to 1.145 with flat nose bullets. Zero issues so far.
NoSteel
If the new K40 mags you will need to work up a load for <1.15" from what I've seen. I had to come down from 1.20" to 1.135" when I switch the the K40's but they feed realy nice with no issues. (Zero 180 JHP's)
