WTK: Info on Benelli

Hi,

I fell into an unbelievable deal on a super 90.

It came with a sure fire light, a duck bill with a front rifle nite site, pistol grip stock and a plus three extension.

I think the first thing I'm going to do is get a ghost ring tapped and a higher front rifle site.

What else? I understand that a side saddle makes it unreliable?!?!

I had been putting to gether an 870 but I think it will go up for sale.

Benelli is still a new animal to me, so I cannot tell you much .

But I just got rid of the ghost rings on mine at the expense of a new barrel, because the rib and bead type front sight is faster .( FOR ME )

YMMV on this but I found the ghost rings to slow me down.

I think I'll keep the rifle for now, If it's fast that way I won't bother with the Ghost ring.

With a little effort & $$$, you can have a great gun. Use a 3-gun gear side saddle.

The side saddle is no problem on the shotgun Benny built for me. I started with the rifle sights and ghost ring and found it to be slow, especialy for aerial targets. My .02.
