  1. I have Mepro Tritium "High" sights on my USP Tactical. They work great fwith my can. Pinkerton OUT!
  2. I have the same problem. The only solution I have found is to set the die as high as possible and the internal seater aslow as possible but I still have to remove the cartridge from the press.... Pinkerton OUT!
  3. Steve, I think you guys put on a great match!! Team Prozak will be there in all our "Glory!?!?" Pinkerton OUT!
  4. I too would like to know about an optic for heavy metal/ he-man. Of course I'm still bitter .45 GAP was allowed but 10mm wasn't. I do think carrying the pistol through out the match is a good thing!! Less of a game and more "tactical" Pinkerton OUT!
  5. It is a FA Uzi In .22, 9mm, 45 it is awesome. I'll try the stronger spring. Any ideas where to find one? Thanks for the help!!! Pinkerton OUT!
  6. 300lbgorilla The issue is it's an Open bolt with Advanced Primer Ignition so the bolt is never truelly closed. I think a stronger spring might make the bolt faster on closing so it would be "more closed" Thanks for the idea. The guy I bought this from told me that he has had none of these problems with the other kits he's sold to other guys.
  7. Shred. No it's not a 40 Short and Weak barrel. Joe Law 99 The primers are center hit and the ones that are still in the cases show serious over pressure signes. Skywalker I think you're right I just figured that the open bolt would relieve that pressure. (on ther seperated cases the primer is still in the csae) That and I've run HOT 9mm through the 9mm set up with only a rate of fire increase. I'll give the crono a try.
  8. Hi, I have a 10mm load that I have used in my Delta with no pressure signs. It's a relitively lite load. OK so here is the problem. I have a Open bolt UZI. It fires Federal red box but blows the primers out. Wierd because I seem to remember that Federal is a lite load. When I use my Reloads with new bress I get case seperations. Scary!! The same batch of my loads rounds in my Delta are fine. No pressure signs/ no case seperations infact they seem lite. The Federal I sent back to Federal and they said that they were fine and at about 1050 fps. (well within spec) The guy that did the bolt and barrel says that they are both in spec and run fine in his with UMC 10mm. I haven't been able to get UMC 10mm locally. What would cause these issues? Any help or guidence would be appreciated. Thank You, Pinkerton OUT!
  9. Hi, I just wanted to thank Ivan. Today UPS dropped off a 1K 9mm brass from Armscor. I has Emailed Ivan about some problems I'd had previously with the brass. Thank You again I'll load this up and I'm sure the problems have been fixed. Pinkerton OUT!
  10. I use a stool, a chair and standing. The stool when I'm reloading. The chair when I'm resizeing/ trimming And standing when sometimes durring both. Pinkerton OUT!
  11. Benny, I sent you a PM. I was wondering what else? Thanks, Pinkerton OUT!
  12. I think I'll keep the rifle for now, If it's fast that way I won't bother with the Ghost ring. TFB thanks for the point, Pinkerton OUT!
  13. Hi, I fell into an unbelievable deal on a super 90. It came with a sure fire light, a duck bill with a front rifle nite site, pistol grip stock and a plus three extension. I think the first thing I'm going to do is get a ghost ring tapped and a higher front rifle site. What else? I understand that a side saddle makes it unreliable?!?! I had been putting to gether an 870 but I think it will go up for sale. Thanks for the help on the 870 and for the help on this one!!! Pinkerton OUT!
  14. The upper has a silencer on it. I'm just trying to make sure the bullet doesn't spall out of the barrel, not too much blast for the expansion chamber, and some kind of down range accuracy. It is more of a CQB but having the ability to do something at range would be nice. Thanks, Pinkerton OUT!
  15. Hi. I'm looking for a load for 223 in a 8 inch barrel that is 1/7 twist. It has to fit in an AR mag so COAL has to be about 2.270. I am hoping to streach out the range. In my 16 inch 1/8 69 SMKHPBT work great over 25.6 Gr of Varget. That is where I plan to start. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. I am making the assumptions that a heavier bullet would give me better distance/ range. I think a faster burning powder would work better in a pistol length barrel. Does this combination cause problems? Thank You, Pinkerton OUT! PS I had to shelve the 25acp with 32 in barrel project
  16. GL, You have sloved my problem. I'm going to get a .25acp with a 34 in barrel with a gas trap system.... Thank you all!!! Pinkerton OUT!
  17. Does the mid length on the 16" barrel make a diffrence over the carbine length gas system? Thanks, Pinkerton OUT!
  18. It is my understanding that in limited three gun you can use one optic on one gun. I was going to use a 1x4 on the scout rail. One more question is going with a heavier barrel going .970 to help or just be more cumbersome. My experience is with a 20" pencil barrel for duty use and a M-16 with a 7.5" for fun. This is my first "accurate" Ar15. I first thought the 16" because of manurverability and weight. Then I got worried about range. Thanks, Pinkerton OUT! PS It seems the more I learn the less I know.
  19. Hi, I'm building a limited AR I was going to go with flat top with a scout rail. A Wilson heavy barrel 16" 1/8 with a pinned JP cooly break. Now I'm not sure I think maybe a 18" would be better and I keep going back and forth on 1/8 and 1/9. HELP!! 300 yards is about the max around here. Thanks, Pinkerton OUT!
  20. It's all Winchester commercial. It looks intact but stays brown after three hours in corn cob and dillon polish. Steel goes in the circular file. Thanks, Pinkerton OUT!
