Clint-M
Surprised this took so long to be answered. Here's a picture from Larue's website that should help you decide. Stag uses mil-spec buffer tubes/receiver extensions, but I'd check just to be safe. Good luck, CM

chevyoneton
There are bastard "commercial" tubes out there. I own one that is square back like the Mil-Spec but the diameter is too large for the Mil-Spec stock. I do not have a "commercial" diameter stock to try and have not measured it. On the topic of the Stage 3-G, one thing that has kept me from buying one (other than there aren't any to be had and I don't have the money right now) is that I don't like the buttstock. I figure why spend that much money and start changing stuff? I already have several Stag lowers set up like I want to will probably try and find just 3-G upper when they are a little more available.
