Buffalobolt
Has anyone on here ever set up, or tried, a 625 to shoot the 460 Rowland? It seems like it would be an easy enough conversion, and would let you go from IPSC to hunting just by changing loads...
Buffalobolt
You would likely have to shoot it with moon clips only, to get it to headspace correctly. Bu,t that's no big deal. Most shooter's likely do that anyways...
Round_Gun_Shooter
Lots of info on the Clark's Custom Gun web site including articles and load data. They have the conversion listed as $100.
anachronism
A friend did this, shot it a few times, then decided it wasn't really that big of a deal compared to his auto-rim loads and went back to using AR brass. All Clark does is lengthen the chamber a bit.
Norther
Doesn't seem worth it. With similar case wall thickness, case capacity would be the same. Maybe just buy some Starline .45 Super brass and try some warmer loads. Another thing to consider, hot loads will likely shoot differently, requiring you to adjust your sights between loads. Best to just get a second gun

snertley
I would just buy a S&W 610. My last load was a 180gr XTP bullet doing 1350 fps. I think that is faily tame for the revo. I just have not had time to work it up more.
