pruav
Has any tried the new powder CFE223 from Hodgdon? http://hodgdon.com/rifle.html Does it really reduce copper fouling? I would like to know before i start reloading my hoard of 223.
RiggerJJ
Its pretty new, I just found some locally last week... Look at the loads for it on the Hodgdon website, its not a normal powder. Not saying thats bad or anything, but the safe window is pretty narrow, and the pressures are pretty high. Its burn rate is about the same as BLC2. I am going to try it in 223 and 308, soon, just to see. Still trying to find the holy grail for 223 and 308, but so far Varget is the king. jj

Dan Sierpina
A friend of mine just tried it, he reported low velocity and poor accuracy out of his AR. His control load with N133 had it's customary accuracy and velocity.
